Plants are our teachers, they are our helpers. Our relationship with them is simply amazing. What we breathe out, they breathe in, what we excrete they use. The symbiosis between plants and humans simply couldn’t be better.
We breathe out CO2, they breathe in CO2, they breathe out oxygen and we breathe in oxygen. I die or have a bowel movement it turns out to nourish them. Plants die, they end up giving me their body and I eat it and I get nourished. The relationship is simply awesome.
Plants sustain humans and they sustain the entire animal world. The entire biosphere is sustained by plants and plants are in direct connection with light. Light is the connection between spirit and matter. So, light, plants and then everything else.
We have many different relationships with plants. Most indigenous cultures have had plants that are teachers that helped them get out of the limited spectrum they lived in.
Humans only hear less than one tenth of the auditory spectrum and we only smell less than one percent of all possible smells. And, our vision on the whole electromagnetic spectrum is minute. Plants come along and help us open up those areas in which we are limited.
